Never had she expected she actually needed help with studying. The Herbology exam was coming up, and Lou was still, still, still messing up the names.
So the little lion hesitantly took a few steps towards the brightest person in their House: Hermione something-or-the-other Granger. (Lou did not know her second name.)
“Erm, ‘scuse me, but…would ya…do—can ya help me?” She cleared her throat. “I mean—we have an exam soon. An’…I really could use the help.”
Pause.
“I’m Lou Ellen, by the by.” She rambles a lot, too.
When she was approached regarding schoolwork, the young girl was more than happy to comply. She was always up for teaching other fellow students on what she knew, and felt rather proud of herself whenever she could be of use. She patted the seat beside her and then reached into her bag, pulling out her notes for herbology.
“Hello Lou Ellen. I’m Hermione Granger and I would be more than pleased to help you with your schoolwork.” She then grabbed a quill along with a fresh piece of parchment, both set on the table in front. “Now, where exactly are you stuck?”
