I can turn it down if it’s bothering you that much.” Peter sniggered, looking at her with a grin before, lifting his wand up carefully and mumbling a few incoherent words until it had quieted to a more tolerable point. “Just thought this school needed a little more classic rock, ya know?”}

     _{Then he extended his hand gratefully. “The name’s Pete, though, in case you wanna report me.”}

        She was pleased that he didn’t seem to put up much of a fight when it came to turning down his music; yes, she also noticed that he wasn’t as ghastly as most Slytherins seemed to be. She did not judge others simply by their house but she couldn’t help notice that a lot of Slytherins seemed highly alike. She gave him a small smile to show her gratitude for his cooperation and then reached into her pack to grab her book. When he offered her hand, she was just fine with accepting it and giving him a gentle shake.

                          “I shall not report you, seeing as you have
                           gotten rid of the reason why I was going to
                           in the first place. But, I’m Hermione Granger.”

                                               –she paused.

                                                            “Do you have a background in the muggle world?”
