What bothers me the most is that in general, in order to make these ships work and make sense, they vilify Ron while excusing the abusive and bullying actions of Snape/Draco. I don’t understand how that makes sense, to make Ron into a bad guy.
outofcleverness; Honestly, I have seen exactly what you’re saying. And it really makes no sense, but then again, this entire topic is lacking sense. Where exactly did they get that Ron was a bad guy? The fact that he stood up for Hermione more than I can count? Oh, yes, I am quite positive that means he’s a horrible git. Also, during her school years, I believe that Hermione respected Snape to a certain degree as a professor, but it was never anything like /that/. After the war, after finding out the truth, then I am sure she was more than happy to honor his memory and such, but it was still a student/professor kind of relationship, never going over the boundaries. And Draco– I understand his character, but what I don’t understand is how Hermione could just simply forget everything that he had done and said to her. I know I wouldn’t. So unless both of them had gotten brainwashed and knew nothing about the other, I can’t see them getting together just because.
