The male’s voice brought her out of her thoughts - head turned slightly to let him know that he did indeed have her attention now. Normally, most did not comment on her well-being, something that she had gotten used to. She didn’t exactly believe they were being ill of her, but rather that they had more important things to do. So when he asked her of such, her reply had a hint of surprise mixed with slight embarrassment because of where her thoughts had been.
