       “No, not entirely. I’m.. on vacation, you could say.” Saying the entire truth would most likely make the girl call Hermione a liar. Not only that, but it was probably end with the witch getting locked up in a jail or worse, a psychiatric ward. She had actually just helped the chosen one take down the dark lord and was now recuperating before she had to go back to school the following year - depending on if the castle would be rebuilt quick enough. She would most likely go back and help with that, having felt attached to the building that housed her for years.
