London town was a great place to be…
if you loved the rain.

Walking around with an umbrella all day
would be great for those people who didn’t
have weak wrists like Scott did. And he hated
the rain, by the way. Hated it with a passion.

He was walking along when he bumped
past a beautiful young lady whom he had
sworn he had seen before, but he looked
back and blinked a few times——

—when he ran straight into another person.

He was startled, but his height and weight
kept him relatively balanced as he looked
down at the girl and frowned; he had knocked
her right into a puddle. “I’m so sorry,” he
said, holding out a hand to her. “Let me help
you up, please—”

      She had forgotten her umbrella.
That was her mistake of the day.
Already soaking wet, she just wanted
to get home. Her thoughts had
consumed her and she had not
noticed the male coming at her full-force.

                             –until it was too late.

             In the puddle she went.

Hermione hadn’t realized what had happened
at first due to the shock, but she was quick
to figure it out as she looked up at the man.
She accepted his hand, despite how pitiful
she most likely looked right then.

A mere mumbled escaped her lips,
embarrassment taking over at her outrageous
     appearance – being drenched completely
through wasn’t very appealing, even for a
girl who did not obsess over her looks.

                             "It’s.. fine.”
