“–I believe ‘The Picture of Dorian Gray’ by Oscar Wilde would suit you just fine. It’s about a boy who desired to sell his soul so that rather than he would age, this portrait of him would. It’s quite a.. revealing story.”

astxria:

“Are my eyebags that obvious?

My sleeping quarters are fine— the Ravenclaw girls tend to be quieter than most, including the first years. Believe me, I’m surprised.”

Of course, there was the fact that her mother was upset that she’d been sorted into Ravenclaw instead of Slytherin. Now that was enough to make her lose one or two nights of sleep. It wasn’t like she was going to tell her that though.

"I sleepwalk too— Sometimes all the way to the library. It’s embarrassing.”

“Just a smudge,” the witch replied, showing the small amount with her fingers. “Though I suppose if one wasn’t looking directly at them, they wouldn’t notice.”

She was quite interested upon hearing that the other sleepwalked to the library. Not a bad place to wake up! “That sounds both wonderful and awful. If I was to sleepwalk, I would love to wake up in a room full of books. But it could be a problem if it continued on for the majority of each night.”

astxria:

“To be honest, exams or not, I can’t sleep. Sometimes I tend to sleep walk or whatever. Homesickness definitely isn’t a cause though.”

              “Rather curious.
Perhaps it is your sleeping quarters?
Personally, I find it nearly impossible
to sleep when the girls are chattering.”

The witch tilted her head, her mind
swimming in different reasons as to
why the other had trouble sleeping.

   “Or perhaps it is much deeper than that;
       a psychological issue.”

“–just curious, but do you normally
          have an abnormal sleeping pattern?
Or is it simply because exams are coming up?”
